Description

And here he is in all his colored glory! I am veryveryvery pleased with this. :)

Again, this is the Fire element drawing I did for
=kankakanka and *PearlEden's elemental contest.

and now for the story:

"Burgnsteed is a fantastical creature that is very much like a regular, boring Centaur, only that his race has the power to control fire.
Once upon another time, there once was a battle of energies. Beings of magic and strength fought over control over The Flame of Viefre which would give the wielder the power of never-ending flame. A centaur of ancient lore, managed to sneak in between the fighting of the races and get his hands on the legendary Flame. But since he was foolhardy and did not earn the right to the Flame, the great power engulfed him and burned him immensely. At this spectacle, the disputing races ran away in fear of the Flame, in fear for their lives. Little did everyone know, that this centaur survived his ordeal and somehow bonded with the great Flame of Viefre, becoming a new creature called a Kentaur. His name...was Burgnsteed.
Now, in modern times, the Kentaur race flourished and are a rowdy bunch of warriors, but follow a strict code of honor and pride. Their manes and tails are always red, orange, or blond fire and radiate an immense heat, which can burn anyone who tries to get near them. The females of the race are smaller in size and have pale blue to green fire manes and tails.
Their choice of weapons are the Firebands--for they can only be handled by the Kentaurs.
These Firebands emit great heat and fire in the form of giant rings, and with the training of the Kentaurs, can they maneuver these rings in both defensive and offensive attacks. They make for defensive shields, and explosive direct attacks. The battle moves of the Kentaurs have been known to be some of the best moves in the world, and anyone who happens to come upon them in battle, best wish themselves a quick death then to battle one of these great warriors.
All Kentaurs have some relation to fire in their names. Burgnsteed was the first one of their grand species and has been worshiped as a Mighty God of Fire amongst the nations"

Neat concept and design. The fire really looks good, as well as the cinders.
